Melissa Garvey- While most kids grew up listening to Raffi and that annoying lady with the lamb, Melissa was rocking her diapers to the sounds of The Doors, The Who, The Beatles, and various other classical rock bands with names that start with the word, the. Melissa thinks that music is the most important form of expression in the entire world because nothing else suits her better when she’s happy, sad, angry, motivated, creating, working, avoiding work, and/or dancing. When not contributing to earbudz, Melissa can be found writing about everything and nothing at her personal blog, the Brain of Garvey. She is also a contributor to the Ology network. When not blogging her life away, or leaving snarky messages on her friends’ blogs, Melissa enjoys reading, movies, talk radio, making the most of living in Chicago (one of the best cities in the world, in her opinion), PBR, the Food network, photography, and pillows. She is also currently penning her first book which she will shamelessly self promote all over the blog when finished. Oh, and Melissa really enjoys Scrabble and is of the opinion that she has great hair.
