In case you have any doubt as to whether or not the City of Chicago contributes to the global music scene, rest assured, it does. The Chicago Public Schools alumni organization has put together an imix on itunes of some of its’ most influential musical alumni including Kanye West, Quincy Jones, Benny Goodman, R Kelly (editor’s note – ew), Nat “King” Cole, Chicago (duh), Bobby Darin, Styx, Jennifer Hudson, and many, many more.
