Swedish metal band Sister Sin releases it’s album, Switchblade Serenades, in the U.S. today. The sophomore full length effort from Sister Sin is being released to much fanfare on Victory Records, and from what I’ve heard, it promises to deliver. Switchblade Serenades is a throwback to the hair bands of the late eighties/early nineties, and while it’s not my usual cup o’ musical tea, I kinda like it. The beats are hard hitting and front woman, Liv, could quite possibly kick every other metal frontwoman’s ass. At the end of the month, they head out on the UNITE & CONQUER tour with Otep, Ill Nino, and Walls of Jericho across the U.S. Check it out if you want to get a bottle smashed over your head, get punched in the nose, mosh with a 6′4″ 300 lb man rock out!
